Almost 14 years ago, I published hopeforus.wordpress.com. My story needed to be told. I was determined to help my daughter, Megan. My hope was also to prevent others from being abused by Tom Mulczynski and the other perpetrators. The term protective parent was new to most people. As a protective parent and a survivor of extreme abuse, I felt it was important to share my story in detail. Over the years, I added a few pages as well as a blog.
Time passes. I continue on a healing journey. I’m grateful for those who have supported me on my path. Along the way, I have met other survivors. These relationships have often been mutually beneficial. Secrecy has been set aside for the possibility of healing from the trauma we endured.
I’m hopeful that at least one person (adult or child) has been helped by my detailed story being online for these 14 years. If I can of further help to you, please contact me. Occasionally, I may add a post to my blog section. Time will tell. In the meantime, I hope you will take gentle care of yourself and each other.
